 Hi
everyone, boy time is sure flying
by so fast. After a few hectic months, we finally can just
concentrate on just plain old dancing and having some fun. Demo’s,
Picnic’s and Annual dances out of the way, all we have left is our
Christmas party and exchange gift affair to attend to. Linda and Marianne
are working on this project, but if anyone is interested in helping them
with the decorations, please see either one of them.
Special THANK YOU’S
To all the VOLUNTEERS, who made our demo’s a huge success this
year; your work is paying dividends already, we have two commitments
already for next year. To all
the committees who dedicated their time and efforts to make the Picnic
and Annual Dance a success, along with all the BAKER’S, we
thank you and appreciate the time you spent for all of us PCD, to have
such a great time. A Special thank you goes out to Joe & Marianne for
their time and dedication to our club in donating a lot of their time,
plus equipment, and also in trying to keep our dancers, both new and old,
up to date with new dances and also teaching the new beginners that came
out for the workshops.
My personal huge THANK YOU goes out to the Tatamy Firehouse
for all the co-operation they have given to our club, whatever endeavor we
try or asked of them.
Especially Lynn & Kim.
To the officers, who have assisted me in making this year a pleasure,
most of the time, they did so many things that went un-noticed, I thank
all of them.
Also to Cathy Mason, for keeping abreast of all the dancers who
may have fallen or hard times or became ill. Her Cards and Fruit Baskets,
shows how much you all mean to us, here at the PCD Family .

We could use your HELP and
your IDEAS on how we can sell the remaining Cook Books, we
have left, this is all PROFIT for our club, if we can sell them. We
tried at all the demos, but only sold a few. The response we have
received, from most of our members, was outstanding. So any suggestion
that any of you may have in this matter, would greatly be appreciated.

UPCOMING EVENTS
The PCD will be sponsoring a bus trip to Atlantic City on
November 18th , so we can replenish some of the
money we have spent this year. The bus will be leaving from the Tatamy
Firehouse parking lot at 10am, going to Trump Plaza. The cost
will be $30, increase due to the gas prices, we’ll have a Sandwich,
Snack, Movies and Bingo, on the way down. I’ll have a sign up sheet
at the desk or you may call or email me. Sure hope some of you can find
the time to go along with us, in order to fill the bus.
Our Christmas Party will be on Friday December 14th.
I will also have a sign up sheet, at the desk, so we can plan how many
will be attending. The sheet will be for those who will be coming just for
the party or those that will be doing both, the party and
exchanging a $10.00 maximum (Uni-Sex) gift.
As I stated earlier Linda Caprioli and Marianne Miller will be
in charge of the food and decorations. They could use a little help with
the decorations, if anyone is interested in helping them with that, see
either Linda or Marianne.
We may not be dancing on the Friday after Thanksgiving, the Firehouse
may have it booked, they’re not definite on this as of yet. If it is
booked, I was thinking, perhaps we could have a bowling night then, or go
to another function or place to dance. Let me know what you think?
I know we don’t have a suggestion box as of yet, but if any of you
have any ideas or suggestions, don’t hesitate to speak to any of the
officers with your complaints or ideas to help improve our club. We can
certainly use any input we can get.
Friday, Oct.27 , we had CIDER
and DONUTS and DECAF coffee, for our dancers, just another
way to say thanks for your support. Nancy picked up the cider from
Apgar’s, and Lois picked up the donuts from Dunkin Donuts. It
seemed to put everyone in a fun filled mood. We almost had a blast from
the past with a Mo-Town rendition of MY GIRL, by SUZI and
THE IMPOSTERS, featuring Sue Paciucci, as the Lead Singer,
and Bob Hermann, Tom Neal and I as the "Imposters",
but our singer (Sue) lost her voice, and we couldn’t find it. Maybe
next time
